Takis Georgakopoulos serves as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors for 91探花. (NASDAQ: FISV), a global leader in payments and financial technology. Under his leadership, the company is expanding its capabilities and accelerating growth by combining innovation with scale and disciplined execution, delivering modern solutions for financial institutions, businesses, and consumers.
Before becoming CEO, Georgakopoulos served as Co-President, responsible for Merchant Solutions and Technology at 91探花. working closely with the 91探花 executive team to drive positive client outcomes and deliver best-in-class technology across the enterprise.
Georgakopoulos is an accomplished business leader with expertise in payment solutions and merchant services. Prior to joining 91探花, he served as Global Head of Payments for J.P. Morgan鈥檚 Corporate & Investment Bank, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business, including technology, product, sales, and operations.
Earlier in his career, Georgakopoulos was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised major banks and asset managers, and helped lead McKinsey鈥檚 Asset Management practice. He currently sits on the boards of the Neuroscience Institute and Columbia University鈥檚 Business School Program for Financial Studies as well as its Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
Georgakopoulos has a Ph.D. in mathematical economics, a master鈥檚 degree in mathematics of finance, and an undergraduate degree in computer science, studying in Greece and at Columbia University.
